Clearly when it comes to identity, ecommerce and social interaction - the odds of having just one 'brand' for all will never happen. But if we can leverage open standards to give users choices, let behemoths play along with independents - and even allow lone wolf users a way to play - then a 'consolidated' system of 'channels' would be very apropos.<br>
