the process is not as transparent as it could be.<div><br></div><div>it would be nice, if it was clear that you had 3 options a) b) c)</div><div><br></div><div>it would also like to see the openid logo on the actual panel.<br>

I thought this was a very clever approach to OpenID:<div><br></div><div><a href="http://www.reboot.dk/logon" target="_blank">http://www.reboot.dk/logon</a></div><div><br></div><div>At first, it doesn't really look like OpenID... but if you pick a site from the dropdown (i.e. Mediamatic) you'll be redirected to the remote site to authenticate with a helpful instruction: "After I log in I will return to Reboot". </div>
<div><br></div><div>I was also miffed at first -- because I was like -- well, I don't have one of those and I don't want to create another account -- nor can I remember if I already have one... and then I saw the collapsed option to sign in with OpenID — phew!</div>
<div><br></div><div>Barring that, you can just join the site as you would any other site.</div><div><br></div><div>I like this 3-stage approach... allowing the RP to pick from a list of partners or preferred OPs but not removing free choice altogether. Should all that fail, you can still create a local/legacy account.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Anyway, thought it was worth putting out there.</div><div><br></div><div>Chris<br clear="all"><br>-- <br>Chris Messina<br>Open Web Advocate<br><br><a href="http://factoryjoe.com" target="_blank">factoryjoe.com</a> // <a href="http://diso-project.org" target="_blank">diso-project.org</a> // <a href="http://openid.net" target="_blank">openid.net</a> // <a href="http://vidoop.com" target="_blank">vidoop.com</a><br>
