Having served on the OIDF's board of directors since day one, I think<br>
this is an accurate assessment. I have brought this up many times with<br>
the board members, and it was the #1 rationale for me to signing over<br>
the OpenID trademark to the foundation, so it could build that<br>
consumer brand. But there's never been anything resembling a majority<br>
that this is something OIDF should prioritize.<br>
<br>
This is the time to point out that board elections are coming up<br>
rather soon, and I would invite everybody who feels strongly about an<br>
issue like this one to consider running for the board. (Even if I<br>
create myself more re-election competition that way ;-))<br>
