A real world NASCAR to keep in mind

Huh?

Not sure I follow, Marc. I was bringing up these UIs simply to demonstrate
other places where the NASCAR is prevalent — to encourage broader thinking
about this problem (i.e. out of the browser context).

If there can't be "one [neutral] brand" for a fourth choice, then I'm not
sure how we're going to indicate to consumers any kind of consistent
indication that such a fourth option exists, which is what those photos
demonstrate (i.e. the "debit" option).

And no, my comments had nothing to do with anything that Google is working
on, planning on, or thinking about to my knowledge. Instead, in the context
of the recent conversations about XAuth and the UX WG I wanted to provide
some additional food for thought.
