Hi Justin!

I think like Allen about your promotion.
I think I dont understand properly your goal. Please explain to me.

You need to replace the sso process by an ajax request, which will be
automatic?
I recently have worked in this way, but I can't replace the redirection
throught the provider.

If you want to replace this step, you need to know what's the openid
password of the visitor no?

I would also think with a little bit of well thought out
Javascript that i could auto sign in an individual automatically if
they were already signed in at the base domain

If I think in the good way, it seems that you want to check the SSO
connexion throught an ajax request?
If the user is already loggued in on the provider website, the ajax request
will return you the openid identity,
otherwise, nothing. If the answer is like you wish, you can log in the user,
but in the other case,
move him to his provider's homepage. Is that it?
