OpenID User Experiences found in the wild

Aldo,
I’d be up for joining in this podcast too. I think the UX not just for OpenID login, but for all user-centric identity services based on user-centric identifiers like personal URLs or i-names, is going to be a whole new kettle of fish and a hot topic for some time to come.

Aldo,
would be glad to participate in one, as usual ;-)
Timing is a bit of a question ... should it be now, where we're essentially at the point of "we know there is a problem, but don't know how to solve it yet" or should it be at the point of "here is a first strawman, please shoot at it?"
Personally, I think I'd prefer the latter but would be open to either or both.
Cheers,
Johannes.

Chris et al.,
I am writing to "unlurk" and because I've been thinking about how I might
contribute to the discussion.
Although I've written at length about IP (law not network protocols) at the
user-interface "layer" I'm not sure that would provide much value to this
discussion at this point. (I'm going to post it on SSRN but if anyone wants
a copy just let me know.)
However, it occurred to me this morning that perhaps we (Dick, Johannes and
Chris...others?) could produce a podcast to present some of the issues/use cases/etc.
I think that might be a good way to ignite more participation in that audio is a bit
"warmer" medium than email and perhaps might arouse interest in folks that might
otherwise not engage.
If this seems like a ploy to promote my podcast, please know that I'd be happy
to do the recording and host the audio file without any association to my podcast
if that's preferable.
Let me know if there's any interest.

It might be good just to collect user stories at this point --
primarily from existing systems like Google Auth, BBAuth, and so on...
so we know what's out there and what user expectations are.
I don't mind doing a few of these myself -- as usual, it's just a
matter of time. ;)
