[OpenID board] Why Connect?

I am not sure what this means.

As someone in a leadership position within the organization and community, who also have a financial investment in this work, what would *you* like to do? Both options? Pick one?

We know who supports each option based on the proposers list. We also know that Dick objects to the OpenID Connect proposal (and I completely respect his well-argued position - I just don't agree with him). It would be helpful if people clearly expressed where they stand on this.
