I am referring to the URI or referring to attributes.
For email there are:
http://axschema.org/contact/email
http://schema.openid.net/contact/email
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/emailaddress
I have seen others used by OP's
schema.openid.net comes from http://openid.net/specs/openid-attribute-types-1_0-02.html
the draft you are referring to but there is no host for that DNS name.
So a prerequisite for defining attribute types like this would be to
define the URI.
Some people want to use the openSocial schema, or EduPerson etc.
To make progress we need to get a WG chartered.
