It's news to me that the protocol is not known as Yadis any more? You
must be referring to the process of folding Yadis into the XRI spec,
which may be unfinished; but it isn't Yadis that's unfinished.

Also, the Yadis 1.0 specification has not changed for more than a
year, and to my knowledge, no issues have been reported against it
either. I consider that fairly stable ;-) and referenceable from any
other spec.
