I disagree. ;-)

Now granted, there are many, many things that we all need to do and  
that need to happen to make OpenID suitable for the enterprise market  
on a "mass" market basis. People like James keep reminding us of that  
on this list and in other places, and please keep it coming.

But it's definitely not the case any more that it is "impossible"...
