SREG namespace URI rollback

In some sense both, maybe it is just how the documents seem to be laid
out, it just doesn't seem as dead simple as SREG. Maybe it is just
reworking the layout of
http://openid.net/specs/openid-attribute-exchange-1_0-04.html and
removing the document about policy versus technology
http://openid.net/specs/openid-attribute-types-1_0-02.html.
Can we also separate out all of the SAML stuff, as far as I can tell it
isn't up on the specs page but I think the discussions around these four
different documents without clearly being able to tell when people are
talking about what has been detrimental to the entire process.
I think I'd propose the following:
- Remove http://openid.net/specs/openid-attribute-types-1_0-02.html (I
do not believe OpenID should define its own schema elements for things
like "First Name" which are not specific to OpenID, defining a URL for
an OpenID enabled URL for example I think would be fine on OpenID.net)
- Merge http://openid.net/specs/identity-attribute-metadata-1_0-01.html
into http://openid.net/specs/openid-attribute-exchange-1_0-04.html.
- Cleanup the newly merged
http://openid.net/specs/openid-attribute-exchange-1_0-04.html to be more
concise and list URLs for the existing SREG parameters. This will thus
show an easy "upgrade" path between SREG and AX.
All through this process it is also important to discuss it on this list
and drive consensus with the community. In some senses, I think parts
of my objections to AX are how it seems like it has just been shoved
down my throat over the past six months.

I can see an OP thinking that AX is a big step, but have a hard time
seeing it to be that big for an RP (once there are libraries that
support AX) ... and it is really not that much more to do AX over SREG
for an RP.
Where you thinking OP or RP David?
