OpenID version 1.2 instead of 2.0 (Re: off topic - how many peopleuse OpenID ?)

I proposed this a while ago when the discussion about compatibility
with 1.1 was brought up.

Pro:
A new version usually implies incompatibilities. A revision often
means it is compatible with some new features and fixes.

Con:
The issue is that there is a strong message to the market that 2.0
is coming real-soon-now.
