Hello SSE Working Group,
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">As discussed on the call, we need to clarify what types of things may be represented by each member name within a Complex Subject. Rather than jumping right into definitions, I'd like us to collect a broad set of examples of identifiable things
that we expect to want to include as part of a Complex Subject. For now, let's not focus on assigning examples to member names – that presupposes that we already know what the member names should be! Once we have a good set of examples, we can do some "manual
cluster analysis" (i.e., read the list and look for commonalities), and use that as an input into the member name selection/definition discussion.</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">With that, here are some examples of things I expect to show up within Complex Subjects:</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">
<ol class="MailOutline">
<li class="">The identity (i.e., a resource representing an end user) that an end user authenticated as when performing a federated sign-in to a service provider.</li><li class="">The specific desktop/laptop/tablet/phone that an end user is directly using to access a software application.</li><li class="">The installed copy of a specific software application on an end user's desktop/laptop/tablet/phone.</li><li class="">The software service or application that an end user signed into via federated sign-in.</li></ol>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
</div>
<div class="">…I'm going to stop there, as I am still fuzzy on the Complex Subject use case, and keep finding myself drifting towards examples of subjects in general, many of which may or may not make sense as part of a Complex Subject. I look forward to seeing
what everyone else provides!</div>
