Leaving the original text in place rather than editing it, for the record. This is worth flagging because the review clock was one of two reasons the writeup suggested the narrower per-event option (C) over a profile-wide requirement (A). The other was avoiding a breaking change for existing Receivers ? which @ysarig75's testing against six receivers, none of which had trouble with a complex-format device compliance event, also speaks against. Both of those arguments were about risk rather than about which rule is correct. With neither carrying much weight now, (A) deserves a fairer hearing than the writeup gave it: it is simpler to state, it avoids introducing per-use-case subject requirements into a document whose Section 3 currently constrains only event-specific claims, and it is closer to what was floated on the 08-25 call ? "you must support these three, and additional subject types."
