Hi all,
I won't be able to attend the WG meeting tomorrow (I've had conflicts for
the past few weeks, but I expect to be able to attend regularly starting
next week). Here are my inputs since I will be missing the meeting
tomorrow:
I've added a few items to the agenda
<https://hackmd.io/@oidf-wg-sse/wg-meeting-20250624> based on the feedback
received in the review period. We cannot make any normative changes once we
begin the review (or we have to restart the review period), but we can make
non-normative changes. So, from the feedback received, I've created a PR
<https://github.com/openid/sharedsignals/pull/277> for the txn value issue,
because all changes required to resolve it are non-normative.
The issue about uniqueness of stream id
<https://github.com/openid/sharedsignals/issues/272> is important, but
might require a normative change if we have to add the clarification as
suggested by Tushar. We have three choices here:
1. Make a normative change, and restart the review process.
2. We can take the position that practically IdPs will determine
uniqueness with some limitations and not add any text.
3. Or we could add something to the non-normative security
considerations section.
I'm slightly in favor of doing nothing (option 2 above). I think restarting
the review period for this would be disruptive and probably not worth it.
For the other suggested editorial issues in CAEP, RISC and SSF, I would
like to thank Takahito Kawasaki <https://github.com/TakahikoKawasaki> of
Authlete very much for their detailed review. I looked at some of the
suggested editorial clarifications, and found all of them to be
appropriate. I've requested Takahito to please submit a PR to make the
changes, so that I or other editors can review them.
