[Openid-specs-risc] Requesting Shared Signals reviews of OpenID Provider Commands contribution to Connect WG

Dear Shared Signals working group members,

The OpenID Provider Commands contribution by Dick Hardt and Karl McGuiness to the OpenID Connect working group sends commands in the backchannel between OpenID Connect participants.  This is viewed by some as related to sending signals in the backchannel.

Therefore, we are requesting reviews of the contribution by members of the Shared Signals working group.  Please send your reviews to openid-specs-ab at lists.openid.net<mailto:openid-specs-ab at lists.openid.net> within the next week.

If you're not already a member of the OpenID Connect working group, you can join it by signing the contribution agreement as described in the Participation section of https://openid.net/wg/connect/ and then joining the mailing list.

On today's working group call we again discussed Dick and Karl's OpenID Provider Commands contribution<https://lists.openid.net/pipermail/openid-specs-ab/2025-January/010548.html> made on January 15th.  On the call, these proposals were made:

  1.  People are requested to review the contribution and send reviews to the mailing list within the next week.
  2.  I will also ask for reviews from the Shared Signals working group.
  3.  We will decide next steps on the working group call in a week.
