Hi team,

Hope everyone is safe and healthy.

We wanted to give this group a heads up about this announcement <https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/azure-active-directory-identity/moving-towards-real-time-policy-and-security-enforcement/ba-p/1276933> for Microsoft’s implementation of Continuous Access Evaluation functionality in some parts of Azure AD and Office 365. This work is related to the presentation that Anna Barhudarian gave to the CAEP working group last year and incorporates feedback we received. This allows the platform to continuously evaluate access and either revoke or reauthorize the session in near real-time.

While this feature is currently available to first party Office 365 apps, we’re learning a lot from this first implementation and are very excited to continue working with the CAEP/SSE/RISC group to standardize Continuous Access Evaluation across identity and policy ecosystems. We hope this will drive further interest and continue the momentum we’ve seen since this work began.

We’re happy to answer any questions via this list or direct email!

Tim
