Hi all,

Due to the MLK holiday a week ago, we missed our working group call to
kickoff the year. There's been quite a bit of activity happening behind the
scenes so the year seems to be getting off to a great start.

   - Legal meeting planned for the end of the month. We already have six
   different companies registered.
   - Last week I was at the Enigma conference and talked to Facebook who
was excited about the Google pilot. They are working to get someone to the
legal meeting and do a pilot with Google.
   - I had a great call with Intuit who was excited to join this effort and
is confirmed for the legal meeting.
   - The Microsoft abuse team also stopped by Google last week and they are
excited to build out RISC infrastructure as well. We went through a number
   of use cases together.
   - On the 19th, Amazon hosted an early interop meeting with Marius to
work through how we can get a prototype implementation working.
   - Annabelle and Marius are working on revising some of their individual
drafts to be proposed within RISC working group. I'm told to expect that
those drafts will be done by the end of the week.

Our next WG meeting is scheduled for 2/1 and then the one after that
conflicts with President's Day in the US. That's just one formal meeting in
two months. I propose we rejigger the schedule for 1/29 (10am PST) and 2/12
(3:00pm PST). Hopefully, we can start digging into the updated drafts and
identifying issues that need further discussion.

Does anyone have a problem with that schedule change?

thanks,
AD
