John summarizes thread with VMWare's Emily about overloading scope, in 
which she argues for different parameters for target & permission

John agrees, working on edits, should have revised spec in day or two

Other open issues

Depending on what we do with binding spec, may impact protocol spec - 
security changes etc

For NAPPS F2F, John will lead technical discussions

According to John, there is some concern that Apple would push back on 
app-to-app flip UX

Question about relevance of new iOS 8 extensions mechanism, early 
assessment is that the model implies user involvement each time - and as 
such unacceptable.

May be an explicit design decision for privacy
