Over the weekend there was a discussion
<https://oidf.slack.com/archives/C07PUPAG693/p1732118579872519> in the OIDF
#IPSIE slack channel regarding where different kinds of conversations
should happen regarding IPSIE. Slack is the least discoverable of the
three mechanisms we have available to us (GitHub, email, Slack). GitHub
and the mailing list have the widest visibility and distribution.
In order to ensure that the working group can operate efficiently, I
recommend that we keep our technical discussions in GitHub and on the
mailing list. If there’s a deep discussion in Slack, I recommend
summarizing the discussion for the mailing list or on GitHub if it’s
related to an open issue or pull request.
There are no firm rules for which venue is most appropriate for any
particular discussion. I offer this as general guidance to ensure the
widest visibility for all interested parties.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let Aaron or I know.
Thanks,
-dhs
