We will have an Ad Hoc HEART WG meeting this Thursday, March 29th at 11 EST,
for those of you that can attend. We would like to begin to move HEART into
the mainstream. We have agreed that generally the health care industry does
not understand what HEART does and why they need it. Yet we have new
mandates and efforts to enable patient-mediated interoperability outside of
a network using restful API's.
We ask that you think about a clear, simple, non-technical message about
what HEART is and why the industry needs it.
Further, identify 2-3 primary use cases, that would demonstrate HEART's
power, and which would address key challenges around patient mediated
exchange. The use cases chosen must be implementable.
The focus of the Thursday meeting is to identify the best 3-6 applicable use
cases. Each of these will later be expanded to demonstrate how they would
work and how HEART would be used to enable them.
Thanks much,
Nancy
