For historical interest, the logic of the Venn came from this deck:

It explains, feature by feature, the relationships between and among OAuth,
OIDC, and UMA. In that sense, UMA is actually closer to the encompassing
technology -- but in fact, taking each set of specs separately, they don't
entirely overlap in terms of feature set...
