<p class="MsoNormal">I was also looking at the SAML spec for brokered authentication, and I was not able to find any in relation to brokered auth. The use case is if the IDP decides to delegate the authentication to MDM provider, all the devices using that
route will get their devices authenticated. We would need a placeholder for the brokered authenticator.

<p class="MsoNormal">I can see there can be a argument on SP doesn’t have to worry about the brokered authentication and it should something that needs to be taken care at the IDP end. However, when we think about a business user or an admin trying to onboard
the SP with IDP. Or even if the connection were to be initiated via FastFed, then we need a placeholder to notify IDP about the routes (Eg: internal /external) and then if the authentication will be brokered.<o:p></o:p></p>
