FastFed License
Version 1.0, October 2019

LICENSE OF NAME AND LOGO OF AN APPLICATION

1.	Definitions
“Application Provider” means an online service or website that requires user provisioning or authentication, or both, from an Identity Provider.
“Federation Protocol” means a version of OpenID Connect, Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM), or a similar protocol.
“Identity Provider” means a service that is capable of authenticating users or providing user information through a Federation Protocol.
“License” means the terms and conditions of use of a Name and Logo under Sections 1 and 2 of this document. 
“Licensee” means any party to whom Licensor provides a copy of its Logo under this License.
“Licensor” means the owner of the intellectual property rights to the Name and Logo.
“Logo” means the logo associated with a Service Provider that Licensor provides to Licensee.
“Name” means the name associated with a Service Provider that Licensor provides to Licensee. 
“Service Provider” means a (1) Identity Provider; or (2) an Application Provider.

2.	Grant of License
Licensor hereby grants Licensee permission, free of charge, to use Licensor’s Name and Logo in Licensee’s Service Provider.  Licensor makes that grant only for Licensee to use the Name and Logo to represent Licensor’s Service Provider.  Licensee may not make any alternations to the Logo except Licensee may reduce the size of the Logo as long as Licensee maintains the proportions of the Logo.  Licensor agrees that this License does not limit any other licenses to the Name and Logo that Licensor has granted Licensee.
Licensor agrees that it may only revoke this License by (X) providing an alternative Name and Logo for its Service Provider under this License or a license substantially similar to this License, or (Y) ceasing to publicly offer its Service Provider.
