[Openid-specs-fastfed] FastFed pre-meeting notes

Hi all,
Our last FastFed meeting before IIW is tomorrow morning. As per custom, I’ll be finishing the latest iteration of spec late tonight. So, here’s a quick status update in the meantime.

* Still targeting a vote for Implementors Draft at our next in-person meeting on Oct 3
* I plan to finish wordsmithing early next week.
* Pencil time in your calendar on Wed. afternoon or Thu. Morning to review the spec, prior to the in-person meeting.
* I’ll be at the OpenID session and IIW. Ping me if anyone wants to chat in person.

Actions from the previous meeting:

* There was a question of whether to meet more frequently at IIW for last-minute iterations. While we don’t have a formal sessions, I’ll be skipping the 2 hours of IIW introduction on Tuesday morning to work on the spec. During this time, I’ll be in one of the session rooms at IIW. Will email the location Tuesday morning in case others similarly want to meet up.

* I owed a few updates to the spec. Will walk through those changes in tomorrow’s meeting.

* There was a suggestion to change “Identity Provider” -> “FastFed Provider” in the spec terminology. I haven’t done it yet. Partly because the existing terminology permeates 3 different docs and it will be time consuming to edit. Only want to do it once, so let’s be certain we’re ready to commit to a term. Given some of the changes, it may also be unnecessary. Will talk through it more. If we proceed with the change, edits will happen early next week.

* REMINDER: double check that the following details in the spec meet your needs. Still waiting for positive confirmation from providers (or suggested edits).
    - Image dimensions
    - SCIM interoperability profile
    - FastFed License contents (received lots of feedback from SailPoint, haven’t heard from others)
