Unsurprisingly SPC didn't make much of a dent in the payment landscape.  Yeah, I told them that four years ago.  Banks already had SCA.

Universal Authorization is [probably] the only way they could turn the tables.  Here applied to the equally failing EUDIW-4-Payment project:
