No, obviously a scheme pushed by one person is not a candidate for deployment. It has not even gotten a proper review.
However, the mentioned alternative, has been cooking since 2020 without ant known uptake either. I once did a peer review and my verdict was: totally useless.
Based on the lack of feedback on my OpenID4VP issue, OIDF have no solution at all so it is a race at the bottom :)
