[Openid-specs-fapi] For review: FAPI 2 Explanatory Report for ISO PAS

This looks good.

I'll note that the FAPI CIBA spec referenced at https://openid.net/specs/openid-financial-api-ciba.html (draft -02) is from 2019. If this isn't actually the current version, please publish a new draft to openid.net/specs/.

I suggest dropping the -34 from the references to OpenID Connect Core, such as the reference https://openid.net/specs/openid-connect-core-1_0-34.html#Overview.

Subject: [Openid-specs-fapi] For review: FAPI 2 Explanatory Report for ISO PAS

Hi all

As Gail previously mentioned (2024-03-16), we are looking to take both FAPI 1.0 and FAPI 2.0 through to ISO like Mike Jones has done for the OIDC specs.

I've attached the draft Explanatory Report for submission to the PAS (Publicly Available Specification) mentor for review.

Could I please request WG members review the Explanatory Report and provide feedback or changes by end of Friday 2024-04-26. Please provide feedback as comments to the Word document, or within an e-mail response.

The intention is to submit the final versions of the FAPI 2.0 specifications to ISO, not the Implementer's Drafts. I am aiming to send the Explanatory Report to the PAS mentor end of April - early May.

Initially, three FAPI 2.0 specs are being taken through this process. These are:

  *   FAPI 2.0 Security Profile
  *   FAPI 2.0 Attacker Model
  * Financial-grade API: Client Initiated Backchannel Authentication Profile

Given they are currently in implementer's draft, not final, the referenced web locations of the specifications will be updated once made Final. I've attached examples of the submitted specs with the prefixed ISO content for awareness purposes.

Best,
Mark
