Directly after 5.1. \(1\) and before 5.1. \(2\) there is an additional new line. There is both a <br> and then a link: <a href="#section-5.1-3.1.1" class="pilcrow">¶</a> that seem to be creating an unnecessary newline between point 1 and point 2 in section 5.1.
