I have suggested that the authors should consider their document as "input" to a regular standardization process rather than a standard.  On the technical side I find the following items not fully addressed in the depicted flowchart:
🔸Merchant authorization
🔸Dealing with multiple payment networks
🔸Multi-step payments
🔸Trust models
🔸e-Receipts
🔸Account balance support
🔸NFC/QR/BLE connectivity
