If this succeeds it could make Chrome/FIDO2 the "wallet" for the Web.

The EPI (European Payment Initiative) is about to release information on their "wallet" in November including a non-profit company that is supposed to manage the system.

Personally (FWIW), I'm in the process of adding universal receipt support to Saturn.  AFAIK, nobody have tried to create such a thing before.
