[OpenID-Specs-eKYC-IDA] Attachments draft and implementations

Hi All,

The eKYC & IDA WG “OpenID Attachments” Draft is pretty close to publication and we have a question about whether to go to Implementer’s Draft or Final.

The content of this draft specification was previously embedded in Implementers Draft 4 and Implementers Draft 3 of the OpenID Connect for Identity Assurance spec:

so it has been through the implementers draft review process more than once before.

However, we are not aware that there are many real implementations which would be a very useful proof point of a draft and is often used as a decision point.

There is one known implementation that uses the “Embedded Attachments” option but currently no implementation of “External Attachments” known to the Working Group.

Two questions:


  1.  Please can you share any known implementations of OpenID Attachments
  2.  If you are a Software or service provider would you consider doing an implementation?
