The element name ‘type’ is used in several places in the specification, and is therefore not unique and references need to be made to the higher-order element to know which ‘type’ is being referenced.

Where ‘type’ is used, would it be better to be more specific, e.g.: evidence\_type, validation\_type, verification\_type, document\_type, record\_type, attestation\_type, rather than using the same element name ‘type’ in each one as it does now?
