[Openid-specs-discovery] Closing the inactive OpenID v.Next Discovery working group

The OpenID v.Next Discovery working group has been inactive for about a year and a half, with its intended work being replaced by the OpenID Connect<http://openid.net/connect/> specs that have been developed by members of the OpenID Specs AB list<http://lists.openid.net/mailman/listinfo/openid-specs-ab> and are now undergoing review as proposed Implementer's Drafts<http://openid.net/2011/12/23/review-of-proposed-openid-connect-implementer%e2%80%99s-drafts/>.

This note is being sent to inform the membership of this list of the OpenID Board's decision to request closure of inactive working groups<http://lists.openid.net/pipermail/openid-board/2011-February/005120.html> to avoid having the existence of these inactive working groups confuse people.  Unless a majority of the working group membership believes that the Discovery working group needs remain in existence and become active, this list and the working group will be retired in two weeks.
