There is some discussion about the wording and intended meaning. Martijn proposes a new wording separating the sentence. Oliver asks why we need the algorithm identifiers and Martijn explains that currently there are no identifiers for HMAC 256/256 with specific algorithms for key derivation, so it has to be defined. Joseph voices his concerns that might need an example there. Tobias explains that it is kind of a misnomer, but the best we can do for now. Mike asks if it would make sense to register these and Tobias responds that he doesn't think so. Hicham states that we should clarify something along the lines that the curve of the device key is implied by the identifiers in the following table.</div><div><br></div><div>There is an agreement to slightly adjust the wording of the section, the table, and add an example.
