[Openid-dcp] Minutes from June 17 2026 DCP APAC call

Frederik thanks for notes.

Quick clarification on GDC, as there is work related to DCP WG, DCHP WG, Ecosystem Support CG and other OIDF efforts.

Four sessions were jointly submitted by OIDF&others; three more will be submitted shortly.

If you are attending GDC and are willing to take part/contribute to the sessions below please let me know.   We have some leadership roles to fill both in coordinating the session and contributing during the sessions.

Submitted sessions (preliminary drafts attached) :

Age Assurance "Delivering Age Verification on our Watch” (Gail coordinating with David M, Christian B, Anthony C., others)
  *   Conformance “Conformance, Conformance, Conformance” with EC, FIME, NIST, others like FIDO and Austroads TBC. (Joseph Heene, Gail coordinating)

  *   DCHP WG: "Harmonizing the presentation of credential exchange protocols in ISO/IEC 18013-5 and OID4VP” (Bjorn coordinating)

  *   Open a Bank Account use case: "Closing the Assurance Gap: Securing Financial Account Opening”, OIDF, NIST, AustRoads, others TBC. (Juliana Cafik coordinating)

Expected sessions (not yet submitted):

  *
Recap or current 1.1/1.2 work…or a DCP WG hybrid meeting?: "Cutting Edge Spec work on VC/Wallets” currently Gail coordinating with DCP Cochairs. Option for this to be a recap of current work or a DCP WG hybrid meeting to progress specs like we have with IIW/DICE.
  *
101 for new Ecosystems: "Designing your own VC/Wallet Architecture” with the World Bank, OIDF Ecosystem Support CG, others TBC including DCP WG/implementing experts. (Stela M, Chris T, Dima, Gail coordinating)
  *
Session on Federation: To include OpenID Federation and existing and emerging use cases from Education, to Wallets, and AI. Working on how this aligns with Trust Registries Task Force. (Niels Van Dijk, Roland Hedberg, Giuseppe, Mike Jones; Gail helping coordinate)

  *   Events
     *   Pre-DICE hybrid meeting on June 22 will happen as planned, but chairs need to coordinate who will chair.
     *   GDC: There may be some relevant sessions, but nothing planned by the WG itself.
  *   Conformance tests: if you have an mdoc implementation, please test it.
  *   Joint work with ISO
     *   The new WG in OIDF is being set up.
     *   The charter is now available: https://openid.net/digital-credentials-harmonized-presentation-working-group-charter/
  *   Server-to-server issuance
     *   There is now a draft PR containing the first draft of the server-to-server issuance flow: https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VCI/pull/753
  *   Interactive Authorization
     *   PR to rebuild on top of FiPA needs a few more reviews: https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VCI/pull/736
  *   VP 1.1
     *   Issues are either assigned or are waiting for other groups to make decisions.
  *   VCI 1.1
     *   Paul will start a new PR to complement https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VCI/pull/723
     *   IAE PRs will wait until the rebuilding on FiPA is complete. Then they can be reevaluated.
  *   Credential metadata versions and updates
     *   Should we do this in 1.1 as well?
     *   The main thing in 1.1 is Interactive Authorization
     *   Depends on the timelines for 1.1 and 1.2. Maybe 1.1 ASAP and then 1.2 including metadata versions and server-to-server by the end of the year? Chairs need to make a decision on timelines and roadmap.
