[Openid-dcp] Selection of new co-chairs

Hi all

As discussed at last week’s WG meetings and the emails asking if people would be interesting in chairing given Torsten’s move to concentrate on the German project, we’ve had two people put themselves forward for the role:

Brent Zundel
Dima Postnikov

Kristina & I’s recommendation to the working group is that both candidates are:

well suited to the role
have relevant domain experience

and hence that we should nominate both candidates, bringing the number of chairs to 4.

This will help share the high workload across the chairs, as well as a getting us a greater spread of timezones/geographies.

Participants in both working group calls last week appeared supportive of this approach.

If anyone has any concerns/other suggestions/etc, please let us know by the end of Tuesday 3rd March - either on list, direct to Kristina/I, or at one of the WG meetings this week.
