Hi all
We have some more recent updates to the conformance tests to share:
OID4VP
Recap: The tests support the proposed 1.0 final version of VP, along with the latest draft of HAIP, for both wallets and verifiers, for both SD-JWT & mdoc. Wallets can also be tested using the w3c digital credentials API. We’ve had a number of wallets and verifiers that have been taking part in the interop events run and pass these tests already, so they should be in a good shape.
Latest: x509_hash is now supported
OID4VCI
Recap: The tests generally support VCI 1.0 combined with HAIP, but currently only for SD-JWT.
Latest: The tests now support VCI 1.0 final, as well as the latest draft of HAIP that is undergoing public review (currently draft 07), including now supporting key attestations.
HAIP
The tests support both VCI & VP combined with HAIP 1.0.
Instructions for using both sets of tests are available here: https://openid.net/certification/instructions/
Both sets of tests where used in the OIDF interop event earlier this month (see results Gail sent out a few weeks ago) and the VP/HAIP tests were also used in the ISO interop event in New Zealand earlier in the week, so we now have quite a few issuers/wallets/verifiers that have passed the latest tests and are compliant with VCI/VP/HAIP 1.0.
The tests are still a work in progress and we’re continuing to add both extra checks in the happy path flows and also additional negative tests. The hope is to launch a formal certification program within the next 3 months, but we’ll discuss this in the WG in due course as the WG will need to approve the conformance tests before certifications are launched.
Thanks
Joseph
