Hi Gail, Joseph,

Since now HAIP requires FAPI2 on the issuer side and doesn’t allow self-signed certs do you need a trust platform providing X.509 PKI in this interop?

Regards

Hello all

Please do notify me if you plan to take part in the Interop to prove out the HAIP 1.0 spec and the associated tests for OpenID4VP/VCI. Some people have already confirmed during IIW last week (thanks!)

We will have two dates for the interops:

  *
Thursday Nov 6th 7-830am PT (Atlantic)
  *
Monday Nov 10th 7-830am PT (Atlantic)
  *
Teams from Australasia are more than welcome to take part in the remote interop and can work on any debugging asynchronously, instead of joining the live sessions.
     *
Apologies that my travel and Joseph’s prevented us from making any of the Pacific slots work between Nov 6-12th

Scope:
No change to the scope from below.

Test Status:

  *
As usual we will ask participants to run the tests before the interop itself to catch any obvious bugs
     *
OpenID4VCI + HAIP 1.0- Thomas has completed the priority, positive tests for SD-JWT to align to HAIP 1.0. He is working on negative tests now. When done he will notify the WG/ participants that the OpenID4VCI tests are available for use. Joseph is working on OpenID4VP+HAIP for mdoc as well.
     *
OpenID4VP + HAIP 1.0 - Joseph is completing the work on OpenID4VP to include HAIP 1.0 changes
     *
DCQL queries - Gail needs to liaise with Oliver/ Remco on DCQL queries to use this time. We may want to include the dhs flag in this round, given potential for this flag to support financial service compliance use cases in US, and a similar flag might be useful for other jurisdictions in future.

Results of Interop -> Sharing with our Partners

  *
The goal is to lock in the results by end of day Pacific Time November 13th, so we can send the results November 14th to our counterparts:

  *
Interop leaders and participants in the Nov 16-18th in person event in Wellington
  *
ISO WG 10 participants in the meeting Nov 18-20th.
  *
OIDF also hopes to publish results of interop events in our channels, including quotes from participants

Subject: OpenID4VP/VCI+HAIP - Interop RSVP!

Hello all

Please email me if you would like to take part in the the next OpendID4VP + HAIP and OpenID4VCI + HAIP interop in November, date TBC Nov 6-12.

Proposed interop scope:

(1) OID4VP 1.0+HAIP 1.0+DC API+ DCQL (Wallets and verifiers), “-7 Annex D"

(2) OID4VCI 1.0+HAIP 1.0 (Wallets and issuers)

This interop is very important for three reasons:

  *
HAIP 1.0 going to final
  *
OpenID4VP and OpenID4VCI tests will be updated for HAIP 1.0, and we want to test to test the tests.
  *
Collboration with ISO/IEC SC17 WG10 & 4.
     *
New Zealand Gov (NZTA) hosting interop in person Nov 16-18.
     *
ISO/IEC SC17 WG10 & 4 meeting including -7 deliberations.

Note: OIDF staff are already coordinating with FIME to prepare for both OIDF and ISO interop sessions, for a consistent implementer experience in the interops (e.g. use of same open source tests for OpenID4VP+HAIP. Goal is to harmonize this remote interop with the in person testing, to ensure feedback is rolled up for -7 deliberations.

Those that wish to participate can also let me know if any of these dates definitely will not work for the implementing teams. Our goal is to select an Atlantic and Pacific times to gather the largest participant list we can. As usual it will be a 90min in person interop, with some opportunity to start testing before the event, and continue closing gaps for a narrow period after the event.

Thursday Nov 6th 7-830am PT (Atlantic)
Thursday Nov 6th 5-630pm PT (Nov 7th in Asia) (Pacific)
Friday Nov 7th 7-830am PT (Atlantic)
Mon Nov 10th 7-830am PT (Atlantic)
Mon Nov 10th 5-630pm PT (Nov 11th in Asia) (Pacific)
Tues Nov 11th 7-830am PT (Atlantic)
Tues Nov 11th 5-630pm PT (Nov 12th in Asia) (Pacific)
Wed Nov 12th 7-830am PT, (Atlantic)
Wed Nov 12th 5-630pm PT (Nov 13th in Asia) (Pacific)

We will provide results to ISO, and we will publish results to the DCP WG, feedback to the Certification team, and publish in an OIDF blog post, with quotes from implementers. In some cases we also do a press release for wider public and media coverage.

Gail
