Hi all
As anyone who has attended a WG call recently will be well aware, the WG intends to take the HAIP 1.0 spec to working group last call / public review (and then voting for final) shortly.
The current spec can be reviewed here:
https://openid.github.io/OpenID4VC-HAIP/openid4vc-high-assurance-interoperability-profile-wg-draft.html
And there are several normative changes that are being actively worked on to be merged before public review starts:
enforce same device flow for redirect-based OpenID4VP <https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VC-HAIP/pull/293>
Allow other Wallet Attestation formats <https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VC-HAIP/pull/291>
Add note about the revocation mechanisms in the second edition of 18013-5 <https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VC-HAIP/pull/289>
Reword SD-JWT credential validity text + remove requirement for verifiers/wallets to support status list <https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VC-HAIP/pull/276>
What does High Assurance mean? <https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VC-HAIP/pull/231>
Require use of (most of) FAPI2 with VCI <https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VC-HAIP/pull/214>
We’ll likely be discussing all of these on Tuesday’s WG call, but in the meantime any extra comments/approvals on any of these PRs would be greatly appreciated. The hope is to agree to formally start the two week working group last call on Tuesday’s WG call, and we would suggest to also start the public review period next week (so it would have some overlap with the 2 week last call, as permitted by OIDF process & as we have done for other specs,).
If anyone has any other items they think are important to resolve before we start the public review period for 1.0 please reply to this email, open a GitHub issue <https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VC-HAIP/issues/new>, or otherwise let the chairs know - as soon as possible.
Thanks
Joseph
