I’ve not seen the minutes yet so don’t know what happened, but to my mind we should continue to discuss this on the issue until there’s a clear proposal for how the new mechanism will interact with the existing credential formats mechanisms and how it works for verifiers, if at all.

I’ve added a further comment on the issue but I don’t think it says anything new. It would really help if people could focus on explaining how this suggested new mechanism is used (or not) by wallets and verifiers in practice.
