Introductions
*
Matteo Marangoni from SICPA introduced himself.
External Organizations
*
A letter has been received from the EU with some things they would like to see from OIDF. The chairs are reviewing this and may share next week.
Hybrid WG Meeting
*
Hosted by Microsoft next week (3 hours). Onsite participation is fully booked.
*
Teams meeting invite is available in the OIDF calendar.
*
Draft agenda will be published soon.
*
The hybrid meeting will address query language-related topics.
*
Note: No regular DCP calls next week.
IIW
*
A working document for IIW sessions related to DCP that people want to organize can be found <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yTWnl-vHnKN5Q9rEPpPwFq6Ur-sfJL9qExCH2lhgnxA/> here<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yTWnl-vHnKN5Q9rEPpPwFq6Ur-sfJL9qExCH2lhgnxA/>.
WGLC OpenID4VP
*
Initial comments approving the ID are starting to come in.
*
The ID approval and publication process was explained.
*
The voting period is planned to end on December 15th.
*
It was noted that normative technical changes could still be made during the review period if necessary. Any such changes must be flagged in the announcement or blog post about the draft update to address certain issues. This is part of the normal process.
*
Comments coming in via the mailing list about starting the ID approval process should be agreed upon within the mailing list to determine if they will be addressed during the review period.
*
The chairs have an action item to explain the process for normative and non-normative changes during the review period and to suggest how we will work within git on both the voted-upon document and the changes intended for final at the same time.
OID4VCI Topics
PR #389: Add Key Attestations
*
Postponed until Christian or Paul are available.
*
Discussion revolved around key (storage) types and whether hardware-based attestations like StrongBox could be directly used with OID4VCI key attestations.
*
WebAuthn followed a similar approach, but it was mentioned that some regretted it.
*
Concerns were raised about whether this would be a bigger leap than what is currently being proposed. No resolutions were made during the call.
*
No resolutions taken.
Issue #406: Wallet Attestations
*
Rough agreement to define wallet attestations in VCI. If this is done, it would be removed from HAIP.
PR #404 and PR #405
*
Not discussed since Paul did not attend.
*
No resolutions taken.
PR #392
*
DCP members were encouraged to ask developers for their preferences and leave comments in the PR.
*
No resolution was made.
OID4VP Topics
DCQL Interop at IIW
*
Lee implemented most of DCQL for the Digital Credentials API and will upload it to GitHub for engineers to experiment with.
*
A sample app will be provided before IIW, though the implementation will not have all features initially. More features may be added by the time of IIW.
*
Updates on the above items will be provided via OIDF Slack.
Issue #290
*
It was noted that for simple implementations, the issues described in the ticket may not surface.
*
A discussion followed about capturing possible queries and their expected result sets for a given set of credentials stored in a wallet.
*
No resolution was made.
