Hello DCP WG!
The Kantara Privacy Enhancing Mobile Credentials WG has completed their Early Implementor's Draft report. Voting is currently open to Approve, Approve with comments, and Note Approve by November 15th.
We welcome any feedback from the WG, preferably by Friday so we can consolidate an answer from OIDF by end of day Nov 14th.
The focus of the PEMC WG is mainly on privacy considerations for the end to end ecosystem enabled by government-issued digital identity credentials like ISO 18013-5 mDLs using digital platform enabled wallets. Apple, Google, AAMVA, and DHS/ TSA have been some of the most active contributors and editors to this work, so its probability for being applied in the US market over time is high. The charter allows for verifiable credentials, but the participants in PEMC from other stakeholder groups has been limited. As you may recall, the OIDF co-funded Heather's time for some of word of this PEMC WG, and we sought to align it with Heather's Privacy whitepaper, so OIDF formal review of this Report would be of value.
Cheers,
Kristina
