Hi DCP WG!

Here is an email summarizing logistics for the DCP WG as requested during the last week's call.

Call logistics

  *   Please use OIDF Calendar (https://openid.net/calendar/) as a source of truth - look for "DCP WG + SIOP call" entry.
     *   Just in case, correct Zoom URL is https://zoom.us/j/94085567252?pwd=cHNFMExFalhlM2MrOFhoN3J6eDRuZz09 (not an old SIOP call one)
     *   For those who have not previously attended SIOP calls, please be careful because the time rotates every week: calls labelled "Atlantic 2" are 1h later than calls labelled "Atlantic 1".
     *   I will also update the calendar invite I used to send out for SIOP call for those who have been using that.
  *   If you are interested in attending APAC friendly call, please fill in this doodle poll: https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/dN0qv82a
     *   Current suggestion is to have an APAC friendly call once a month (last week of a month) on top of weekly DCP WG calls. This might change if there will be an overwhelming amount of responses for APAC friendly time.

IPR agreement

  *   To participate, please sign for both, Connect WG and DCP WG: https://openid.net/intellectual-property/openid-foundation-contribution-agreements/
     *   This is because in the beginning, DCP WG calls will be held in conjunction with SIOP special calls within the Connect WG. From the IRP perspective, we agreed to work on OID4VCI, OID4VP, SIOPv2 in SIOP calls (Connect WG) until they go through the implementer's draft process and start working on them in DCP WG after that.

GH migration

  *   GH migration of OID4VP, OID4VCI, SIOPv2 is complete (for details, please see separate email thread here https://lists.openid.net/pipermail/openid-specs-ab/2023-September/010059.html)

Draft adoption

  *   Authors of OID4VP over BLE, Security Analysis, HAIP (High Assurance Interop Profile), and UserInfo profile documents, please start the adoption process within the DCP WG when ready.

Mailing List

  *   Emails sent out to both Connect and DCP WGs have been archived in Connect WG ML (https://lists.openid.net/pipermail/openid-specs-ab/). In case you have been wondering why some emails sent out to the DCP WG ML are not showing up on https://lists.openid.net/pipermail/openid-specs-digital-credentials-protocols/.

I will shortly send out the proposed agenda for the DCP WG + SIOP call for this Thursday.
