Hello all,

Thank you, Gail, for detailing the next steps. I met Gerry last week at IIW and he, Allan and I discussed the next steps you outlined. I'll get the new WG web pages drafted by tomorrow so we're ready to publish once we have content.

With respect to the formal approval, I do not see an objections via the Specs Council mail list but will confirm with Mike Jones to be certain.

Gerry - Correction, in addition to the blog copy on AuthZEN WG, we also need the website copy so that we can post a new section to the Working Group tab on the website here: https://openid.net/wg/ and then the landing page for the WG (e.g. DCP example here: https://openid.net/wg/digital-credentials-protocols/)



When Mike has all that website copy and has reviewed it, it can be posted when we announce the WG.

George. I believe that is right. I know Mike Jones is away for a funeral right now so I suspect he may not be confirming for the next couple of days.



Mike L, are you able to confirm? I think we just needed to confirm that there were no further objections since Gerry resent the charter based on the changes/ clarifications suggested.



In the meantime, Gerry, does the AuthZen discussion group have blog copy ready to announce the new WG? Once Mike L and I run through the copy (and Specs council approval is locked) we should be able to make the announcement and set-up the channels to start adding WG participants.

I believe the 2 weeks for the AuthZen working group charter completed on Saturday. Is it now an official working group? I ask because I need to re-sign the contributors agreement to add this group and DCP :)
