We didn't end up using PoCo - originally we were going to borrow it's schema, but we ended up using something pretty close to the schema found at http://openidconnect.com.

Hi Chuck,

Thank you for replying. How did you combine PoCo with the identity service? Do you use PoCo to exchange user info?

Cheers,

Chris

In our release that is just rolling out, we implemented a URL based Identity service on-top of OAuth2. We were already doing this based upon the PoCo Schema, so when OpenIDConnect was announced, we modified our implementation to be roughly in-line with that proposal. At the same time we joined the OIDF and committed ourselves to working on an actual OpenID Connect spec.

So - it's probably more accurate to say that we have implemented something that looks a lot like the OpenID Connect proposal in order to get some experience and satisfy some immediate use-cases. We'll work to contribute and keep in-line with the actual spec if/when it materializes.

Hi all,

I read that Salesforce was implementing OpenID Connect, based on what spec was that?
And of course, how can I help moving this thing forward?
