Hi, I wanted elaborate on IPR quesion, regarding OIDC4VP and PE work, as there was some confusion during the Pacific Connect call we just had.</div>

<li>Within OpenID Foundation, SIOP calls are the main place to discuss DIF Presentation Exchange (PE) related issues (I say main, because certain topics like adoption will be brought to the larger Connect WG). <br>

<li><span><span style="margin:0px">SIOP calls are and will remain protected by <b>
OpenID Foundation's IPR</b>.</span><br>
</span></li><li><span>This is the place to make final decision regarding how PE is being used in<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);display:inline !important"><span> </span>OpenID Connect for Verifiable Presentations (OIDC4VP).</span></span></li></ul>
<li><span>Within DIF, the new call that is starting this Wednesday that I have announced will be the place to discuss PE and OIDC4VP related issues. </span></li><ul>
<li>This call will be <b>DIF IPR</b> protected.</li><li><span>This would be the place to make final decisions regarding PE spec - whether it decides to introduce breaking changes to v1 or not, etc.</span></li></ul>

I hope this will provide a place for participation and discussion even if you have not signed both OIDF and DIF IPRs, and </span>I think it is a good thing that now there is a place in DIF where integration with OpenID Connect is being discussed.</span></div>

The reason is - format element is not credential or presentation specific, it is a
