“Publish”, meaning that a Subordinate Statement for the Entity is retrievable from the federation_fetch_endpoint of any Immediate Superior listed in the Entity’s authority_hints list.

i can't seem to log in any more. so i just replied.

I am confused about what the word publish means. If I have a trust registry for TPM chips, would I need to be able to publish a list of all of the chips manufactured? ..tom

Michael Jones:

While working on proposed Certification tests, I proposed a test verifying that “Can fetch Subordinate Statement for the Entity from each Superior in the authority\_hints“. But I couldn’t a place we explicitly said in the spec that Immediate Superiors must publish Subordinate Statements about their Immediate Subordinates. I propose that we do so.
