There's an Open Wallet Foundation (OWF) meeting at the same time
We are exploring having a joint session

There's a new library supporting OpenID4VP
              https://github.com/TalaoDAO/AltMe

The VP over BLE spec is now in GitHub
              https://github.com/openid/openid4vp_ble

Pull Requests
https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VCI/pull/65 - add identifiers for issuing credential of the same type, different content
People are asking for identifiers to be described better
Judith asked for a separate issue to be opened
                           Pedro supported using identifiers
Kristina asked how wallets would receive the identifiers
We are trying to avoid breaking changes
Kristina asked about adding an option to pass an identifier in the credential offer
Pedro talked about complexities that this would introduce
Jacob said that including an identifier would make it instance specific
Jacob said that identifiers are a solution to a different problem
                                         It is a subtyping problem
Earlier we'd considered the DIF Credential Manifest spec but it was more complicated than our current solution
Pedro said that if there's an entry in the metadata, it needs to be in a standard place
Kristina said that the credential offer is untrusted
https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VCI/pull/64 - clarify credential error response can be authorization or credential request error
                           Kristina asked for additional reviewers
                           Pedro volunteered
https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VCI/pull/66 - add data integrity verifiable presentation as proof of possession
                           Additional reviews needed
https://github.com/openid/OpenID4VCI/pull/70 - Wallet notifying the Issuer of acceptance/rejection of issued credential
Kristina asked about how to identify the desired credential
                                         We could use identifiers
We could use a state parameter
Brian said that it's a weird mismatch to only be able to communicate state of a group of credentials
He questions whether this functionality is actually needed
Brian suggested just sending the credential rather than an identifier
Kristina said that if we add identifiers, we may want to make them mandatory

Next Call
The next DCP/SIOP call will be Thursday, October 5 at 8am Pacific Time
