Federation Specification
              Draft -22 was published
It closed all the open PRs at that time
More PRs and issues have since been filed

Identity Asia Conference
Vittorio reported that there were use cases for Verifiable Credentials that are solid
                           He liked the SingPass deployment
It's a source of truth for all Singapore citizens
He said that the IATA use case is an interesting one
                                         It needs claim aggregation
There's a huge variability in Covid credentials

Pull Requests
              https://bitbucket.org/openid/connect/pull-requests/
PR #302: fix: [Federation] Trust Chain explanatory text made easier
                           Reviews requested
              PR #303: https://bitbucket.org/openid/connect/pull-requests/303
The term "Metadata Discovery" is probably overly general for its definition
Tobias will add a comment on scoping the terminology appropriately

Issues
              https://bitbucket.org/openid/connect/issues?status=new&status=open
#1616: (ge) Try not to depend on capitalization scheme for indicating a defined words.
Nat said that the point is that when a word is used as a keyword, try to not use the word as a non keyword
Heather Flanagan and Tobias and Mike agreed
Heather cited RFC 8174: Ambiguity of Uppercase vs Lowercase in RFC 2119 Key Words
Nat said that, for example, if we use "MUST" as a keyword, try to not use "must" as a non keyword
This also applies to defined terms
Comments on the issue are welcomed
#1633: Which keys to use for signing trust marks.
We intend to clarify that the entity uses its own keys to sign its trust marks
Tom thought that trust marks might be archival, rather than current
That would have implications for key management

JWP Virtual Interim BoF
The IESG approved holding a virtual interim JWP BoF, as requested by area director Roman Danyliw
The chairs and participants are scheduling a planning call to create an agenda
The goal of the virtual interim BoF will be to complete the discussions, leading to formation of the working group

Next Call
The next call is the SIOP Special Topic call at 7am Pacific Time on Thursday, September 15, 2022
